Sometimes you notice that your dog is shedding hairs from its tail. These small bugs are known as fleas, and they bite the pet to suck the blood. These fleas are troublesome as they can make your pet, itchy and lead to sickness. 

What are fleas?

Fleas are very small insects which are also known as parasites. These are very small even smaller than a rice grain. The habitat of this small dark bug is animals. • Carbon Dioxide: When your dog exhales, they release carbon dioxide. Their sensitive antennae can detect this gas from a distance, leading them straight to your pup.
• Easy Access to Food: Fleas are blood-sucking parasites, and your dog’s readily available blood supply is like a buffet to them. The thin skin around your dog’s ears, belly, and legs is especially tempting, as it’s easier for them to reach.
• Age: Puppies and senior dogs tend to have weaker immune systems, making them more vulnerable to flea infestations.
• Health: Dogs with underlying health conditions or skin problems may be more susceptible to fleas.

How to prevent fleas on dogs instantly?

Several ways can help you protect your dog from getting fleas such as:
